We're Rebuilding the Polling Database, Updating for Six Party Politics

We have had a long hiatus since the last general election, basically taking 2025 off. We're coming back for a new electoral cycle anticipating a more complex psephological landscape.

Currently we're doing a lot of technical work, data hygiene, candidate uploading and bug fixing. So some of the outputs will be off at the moment. We are a long way from being back to fully operational.

Some tweets (Xs?) may go out on social. These should be considered as system tests.

If you want to help, you could upload a candidate you know to the database. Thousands of names will have to be uploaded before the next general election and if you would rather see a named and pictured candidate than a plain party rosette that is the best way to help. You can check your constituency pollingreport.uk/seats and use the "Submit Candidate" button to help populate the database.
