UK Polling Report is dedicated to covering survey and polling news, with a particular focus on political polling. The website aims to increase access to the polling industry, informing a wider audience on polling data; its potential and limitations.

The site takes a data-driven approach and is expressly non-partisan, though we aim to foster debate and discussion so welcome contributions from those of all political stripes.

Polling Report was originally founded by Anthony Wells in 2005 and operated until 2021. As he explained in an article on our relaunch, for years it provided leading independent coverage on the industry, encouraging informed and well-considered commentary.

We relaunched in 2022 with a new look but the same objectives, with initial financial backing from political media agency MessageSpace and Stephan Shakespeare.
