First Pollster Reports Tories Pushing Reform Into Third Place
New polling from More in Common has Labour leading in the first poll of the Autumn, with the Conservatives displacing Reform by one percentage point. Which is the first time in 18 months that the Conservatives are ahead with this pollster.
As Reform kick off party conference season they will be disappointed to see the Conservatives’ highest vote share since the beginning of this year and Reform’s lowest since January 2025 ending Reform’s year-and-a-half streak of remaining in first or second place. Labour’s vote share has narrowed slightly over the past month, from 28 per cent in Burnham’s first week in office, down to 26 per cent this week.
It should be noted that the Conservative advantage is within the margin of error. Reform supporters will also point out that Restore are on 4 per cent and that 47% of Restore supporters would consider voting Reform.
