The Burnham Bounce Has Arrived

More in Common are the first pollster to record a Labour lead in the Burnham era. Polling with fieldwork completed today sees Labour move ahead by 4 points which is the first lead recorded by them since March 2025 and their highest share since November 2024.

Post-Makerfield Burnham's personal favourability took a little dip, it has now recovered giving him a positive 3 point favourability rating. This is better than the improving -11 for Kemi Badenoch and the -46 being recorded for Nigel Farage, a rating which is even lower than Keir Starmer's was before he resigned. Zack Polanski rating of -26 continues to decline.

All in all Burnham is enjoying a far better start than his predecessor had.
