There's a new ComRes poll in tomorrow's Indy. The topline figures, with changes from their last poll, are CON 38%(-2), LAB 23%(-1), LDEM 23%(+2). It's actually a smaller boost for the Lib Dems that the polls we saw from ICM and

Election Day in Germany

For anyone interested in the German elections, here are the most recent opinion polls in Germany. There is a surprising lack of polls carried out in the last few days - presumably there isn't any law against them, since Forsa have managed to put one out with fieldwork

New BPIX poll in the Mail on Sunday

There is also a new BPIX poll in the Mail on Sunday. The topline figures are CON 40%, LAB 25%, LDEM 22% so largely inline with the other pollsters, showing the Lib Dems up to the low twenties following their conference. Last month's BPIX had very odd figures

Update on the Irish Lisbon referendum

This weekend has also produced two new polls for the Irish referendum on the Lisbon Treaty. A poll from TNS mrbi for the Irish Times has referendum voting intentions of YES 48%, NO 33%, so a slight narrowing of the YES lead since their previous poll which showed 46% to

Another Lib Dem boost from ICM

Following YouGov's poll yesterday giving the Lib Dems a three point conference boost, a new ICM poll in the News of the World gives them at 4 point increase. The topline figures, with changes from their last poll just before the Lib Dem conference began, are CON 40%

Post conference boost for the Lib Dems

The YouGov monthly poll for the Telegraph is out (presumably a day later than usual because of the Telegraph devoting yesterday to the story of how their expenses story was leaked). The topline figures, with changes from Yougov's last poll CON 39%(-2), LAB 26%(-1), LDEM 20%

Populus Conference poll

I've already reported some nuggets from the September Populus poll, but hte full tables are now up on their website here. Populus normally carry out a special extended poll for the party conference, with some regular trackers on things like party image. This year is no disappointment. Tactical

Conference catch up

Want to get some nice publicity around conference season? Commission a poll! Quite a few little bits and pieces over the last couple of days, so I thought I'd catch up with some. Firstly YouGov for Left Foot Forward asked about replacing Trident. 23% thought it should be

Irish Lisbon referendum update

Here's a quick update on the Irish Lisbon Referendum. There was a new poll from Millward Brown on Sunday that put YES at 53% and NO at 26%. However, getting rather more attention is a poll from Gael Poll which claims to show YES and 41% and NO

17 point Tory lead in latest ICM poll

There is a new ICM poll out in the Guardian here. Topline figures, with changes from the last ICM poll in late August, are CON 43%(+2), LAB 26%(+1), LDEM 19%(nc). This equals the second highest Conservative lead recorded by ICM, but like most recent polls, shows very

New ICM poll out tonight

ICM's monthly poll for the Guardian is due to be published tonight. I'm out at a meeting, so it may turn up before I get home - feel free to discuss it here if it does!

ICM/Sunday Telegraph poll on Europe

The only poll I've found in the Sunday papers so far is from ICM in the Sunday Telegraph. No sign of voting intention figures yet (they may not have been asked), only questions about the EU. The poll apparently shows 70% of people in support of the Conservatives
