New ComRes poll
There is a new ComRes poll in the Independent on Sunday. The topline figures, with changes from their poll a week ago, are CON 40%(+2), LAB 28%(+5), LDEM 19%(-4).
The figures are almost identical to YouGov's in the People. ComRes's last poll was straight after the Lib Dem conference and showed them enjoying a small boost and showed them up at 23%, that conference boost has now declined, and we can see Labour enjoying a conference boost - it's their highest score from ComRes since March.
On other questions, ComRes found 50% thought that Gordon Brown made the right decisions to prevent a depression (44% disagreed). However, only 32% thought that it would have been worse had David Cameron been in charge instead.
