The Green Party have released a poll they've commissioned from ComRes on the European elections. It shows voting intentions of CON 24%, LAB 22%, LDEM 14%, UKIP 17%, Green 15%, BNP 2%. I haven't seen the tables just yet, so I'm treating it with

ComRes show collapse in Conservative support

ComRes has a new poll in tomorrow's Independent with, for want of a better description, frankly odd results. The topline figures with changes from ComRes's last poll are CON 30%(-10), LAB 22%(+1), LDEM 18%(nc). These results are clearly grossly out of line with

MORI show Labour dipping into the teens

The record for Labour's lowest ever score in the polls seems to be getting broken anew every time a new poll comes out. Ipsos MORI's monthly political monitor has been released as has topline figures, with changes from their last poll, of CON 40%(-1), LAB

New YouGov poll

The YouGov/Telegraph poll I expected last week is in Monday's Telegraph. The topline voting intention figures, with changes from YouGov's last poll, are CON 39%(nc), LAB 22%(-1), LDEM 18%(-1). Evidently there is no major change here from YouGov's last poll

The Sunday Times today carries the first poll for the forthcoming Glasgow North East by-election. It is carried out by Scottish Opinion and shows vote shares of CON 6%, LAB 51%, LDEM 3%, SNP 33%. The Sunday Times report concludes from this that "The SNP would struggle to win

Labour drop to third place

I've been speculating about it for a couple of months, but in the Sunday Telegraph tomorrow we finally see a poll (as suspected from ICM, who tend to give the Liberal Democrats their highest levels of support) putting Labout in third place. The topline figures, with changes from

ICM have Labour third in European Election poll

No proper figures yet, but Matthew D'Ancona's column in tomorrow's Sunday Telegraph is already up and reveals ICM have a new poll including European election voting intentions, and that it shows Labour in third place with less than 20%. I'll do a

Polls ahead

. If the Telegraph are sticking to their normal monthly timetable we can expect to find their monthly YouGov poll sometime this evening. I'm out at a meeting, so feel free to use this thread to discuss the figures when they appear. I'll update properly later. UPDATE:

Catching up with the weekend's Scottish polling

Unless proximity to the election has cancelled out reluctance to poll over a bank holiday weekend we won't be getting any new polls for a day or two. In the meantime I should really update with a Scottish poll that came out over the weekend. The Scottish Opinion

Voodoo polling corner

No proper national polls in the papers this weekend (though the Scottish Mail on Sunday does have a Scottish Opinion poll), but there is what proports to be a selection of constituency polls in the Sunday Express. The Sunday Express claim to have constituency polls in Salford, Worcester and Basildon,
