Lib-Lab "Coalition of Chaos" Doesn't Concern Voters

In the wake of the Local Elections, national discussion has been refocused on potential coalitions in the supposedly now likely event of a hung parliament - with Keir Starmer receiving media scrutiny for his failure to rule out a coalition with the Liberal Democrats.

However, new polling from Opinium reveals such fears don't weigh on voters' minds to the same extent as they do for Telegraph columnists. Voters rank both a Labour majority and a Liberal Democrat-Labour coalition as more stable than a potential Conservative majority. They also put a SNP-Labour coalition above a DUP-Conservative one. It's not hard to see why a "coalition of chaos" line might not play well after the past seven years of Conservative government.
